My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

    I have the exact same issue as everyone here is describing. I have an Epson-3750; and you're so right, it's wasting a lot of paper.

    Very frustrating.

    Hoping that someone has posted a resolution to this and perhaps I'm just not seeing it.

    I have the exact same issue as everyone here is describing. I have an Epson-3750; and you're so right, it's wasting a lot of paper. Nothing seems to fix the issue and it's super annoying and wasteful.

    Very frustrating.

    Hoping that someone has posted a resolution to this and perhaps I'm just not seeing it.

    I have had the same problem with my Workforce ET-2650. I unplugged all the cables and started up again as Microsoft told me. Still the same problem after an hour. So I unplugged the USB and now NO CONSTANT PRINTING. I guess the problem with Microsoft is their connection compatibility.

    I Found this and it seemed to work, the screen shots are a bit different for my computer but i was able to find the print server properties by going to control panel, hardware and sound, then devices and printers, find your printer logo and when you single click on it, at the top of the folder print server properties will appear, click on that and follow the steps below.

    To resolve this issue, turn off the Windows print notifications for local printers:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Click Bluetooth & Devices.
    3. Click Printers & scanners.
    4. Scroll down until you get to the "Related settings" category. Click Print server properties.

    1. Click the Advanced tab.

    6. Remove the check from Show informational notifications for local printers.

    7. Click Apply → OK.

    • If the message no longer appears, then the issue is resolved.
    • If the message continues to appear, do the following:

    Since this is a Microsoft-related issue, we recommend that you report the problem to Microsoft to assist them in providing a possible solution.

    Alternatively, since these cases affect USB connections to the printers, if your machine is equipped with networking options, disconnect the USB cable and connect the machine wirelessly or by ethernet (if available).
