My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

Eunice Beaudin. Interesting in that I grew up in North Woodstock, NH and the principle of our grade school and our next door neighbor was Joe Beaudin. Then he moved to New York. By any remote chance are you related?

Yes on using ink. I now have to shut down my printer until I need to use it.

Microsoft needs to fix their problem.

    Hi Edward

I was hoping you could provide more direction with regard to locating the "printer status notification" portal.

I have a one and a half month old Epson WF-7840 that has this issue, and I just got off of my eighth call with Epson tech support. They don't know of a "printer status notification" portal, so I was wondering if you know if an alternative name or method of locating.

    Thank you

    TK

I feel your pain. I contact Epson when this issue started and they have replaced my printer twice now, but the issue continues. The second replacement printer they sent me was an upgraded printer and I still get the error message showing up, but not as often. Sometimes I go a day without it happening. I just hope Microsoft figures out why the Windows 11 update caused such a problem.

From my experience with Epson support re this problem with a WF4740, they don't know much period. Follow the script - must be your wi-fi - after telling her several times the machine I was calling about is connected via USB. When it got to her go home time . . . she declared the problem fixed - which it ain't. People keep describing this as a Win 11 problem, but I have it with a Win 10 connected via wi-fi (this machine not discussed with Epson) AND a Win 11 machine connected with USB.

I guess I'll try getting my hands on a different printer to see if it solves my problem.
