GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have Windows 11 Home which I update regularly and use a HP LaserJet 400 M401 as my daily printer at home.

I tried this last Wednesday (27 September 2023) at around 12:45 hours and my printer, which had been spewing out this garbage since January 2023 at the rate of every 15 to 30 minutes (forcing me to turn on the printer when needing to print the turning it off immediately following yet still getting the occasional "extra" page printed just after a printing). It seemed to work. ...For a while. The GET/eSCL/ScannerStatus/HTTP/1.1 page printed stopped at the time intervals aforementioned, HOWEVER, now I get one of these once ever 24 hours between 12:40 and 12:50 hours over the past five days. Better but certainly no resolution to the issue.

Nevertheless, thank you for the suggestion.
