My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

it also happens via network connection as well as USB

Has anyone (recently) resolved this issue? I literally have HUNDREDS of sheets of paper that say:

GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP /1.1

Host: localhost

This issue is wasting a LOT of paper and a LOT of ink!!

Someone, please MAKE IT STOP.

I have tried every suggestion on this list, including reinstalling windows 11. I still am wasting tons of paper and ink as well. I have had to unplug the printer. Nothing is working. I'm desperate as well. Can anyone PLEASE give an answer that works...........Mary

Microsoft you absolutely suck for not resolving this issue. This should be an easy fix but you have allowed this to continue for months......

I have et-15000 and disabling the 'HP Print Scan Doctor service' (changed from automatic to disabled in Services on the Pc) solved it.....have you tried that?

Trying this now and will let you know if it works for me.
