GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.

2024-04-26T11:02:27+00:00 Solution proposed by IDK47 in August 23 worked for me: I have an Epson printer, but had an HP printer beforehand, which was uninstalled. BUT there was still an HP service running on startup. Solution was this:
Enter "services.msc" command at RUN (after rightclick on Windows button bottom left), find "HP Print Scan Doctor Service" in displayed list and disable it. That solved the problem for me.
This would probably apply to anybody who has ever had an HP printer.
Give it a try. -

2024-04-27T12:12:15+00:00 This also works if you have an HP computer, because they load the printer files on the machine before you buy it! I got a new HP and I have an Epson printer and this started right after a Windows update back in January. I had put TEMP in the front of the names of some of the HP printer files and it stopped for about a week. Then I did this and now have had no issues for several weeks now.
