My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I have the same issue and tried every suggestion and have just had my Epson ET-2720 replaced with

Epson-2820 because of another issue. Why can't Microsoft fix this, or don't you want customers?

I am sick and tired of the lame solutions being offered from the 'non-support' area of Microsoft.

Thanks, Coms C. That looked promising, but, unfortunately, didn't work for me on my Epson. Reverting to Wi-Fi.

I take it that worked on your Brother?

eSCL is an Apple AirScan\AirPrint protocol. If you can, try to disable AirPrint on your device. That seems to have fixed the issue for me.

Hi m_c, the problem only appears to be when the printer is connected by USB and I use a droid (company phone) anyway. It may be a solution for Apple users but I have no idea if it would affect a USB connection. Do you know if the AirPrint option is on the printer, in the MS software or on your phone in order to disable it? Checking on the internet, it's hidden away in the Config file, that might be a bit deep for most users. Maybe that's where MS should look to make a patch make it more available for the guy in the street.
