My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

    Come on, some one in microsoft fix this problem otherwise you will have to hire me and I am very expensive by the way😁

    After a call to Microsoft Tech Support I ~may~ have a resolution to the issue. Solution they gave was as follows:

    1. Delete the printer from your system
    2. Do an "update and install" for Windows. As I have Windows 10 this is what I did:
      1. download the Windows Media Creation Tool
      2. Close any open programs or files (you may want to have done a backup as well but this method is pretty foolproof)
      3. Run the tool using the "upgrade this PC now" selection, NOT the create media option.
      4. After the program has downloaded and verified itself, it will ask you if you want to install Windows and keep your personal files. go ahead and click "Install"
      5. Your PC will update and restart a few times, but should not have made any visible changes to your desktop or files
    3. Go to your printer manufacturer, then download and install your printer's software
    4. Run the installation software from your manufacturer, not Microsoft

    This has, so far, worked. This process fixes and repairs any corrupted or missing system files without having to do a complete reinstall. I expect that a Windows update borked something and this fixes whatever the problem is without identifying what the problem was. This process takes a while so make sure to leave time in your schedule.

    Never mind, this didn't work either.

    I did all that with Windows 11. Now instead of having 50 or so useless printed pages, I get one, each time I print something after the printer (brothers) is "awake." I called Brothers and they had no clue about the issue I/we are having. It is a horrid process to have to reinstall software so I wish you luck and hope that your problem is really fixed. I myself, doubt that it will be. Mary
