GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

This appears to have worked for my Epson WF-4820:

    uncheck these two options –

Show informational notifications for local printers

Show informational notifications for network printers

I disconnected the printer from my computer and am using the Wi-Fi connection and it has stopped.

I seem to have solved this problem, at least for the past 12 hours or so, on my Brother printer. Here's what I did:

    1. Disconnect the printer from power and USB.
    2. Download and install latest printer drivers -- in my case dated August 2023.
    3. Delete current printer on control panel.
    4. Reinstall the printer ("Add Printer") connecting through wifi, not USB

I haven't had the "scannerstatus" notice since.

    Hope this helps.
