GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I have the same issue. Looks like it is a bug in the Windows 11 upgrade. Anyone able to get Microsoft to help?

I have a Brother MFC-L37500CDW multi-function printer/scanner. Was working fine. Upgraded to Windows 11 and now whenever it wakes up from sleeping, it prints a 2-line page saying:

    Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1

    Host: Localhost

Uninstalled Printer, reinstalled -- no change

Updated printer firmware -- no change

Switched USB cable to another USB port -- no change

From what I have seen on multiple forums, this is happening with multiple printers and multiple brands. The only constant is they are all connected via USB and all started happening when upgraded to Windows 11.

Steve, Have you gotten anything to fix it yet?

    Marco,

About an hour after I did all of that with the regedit, it began printing out the sheets again. The search, for me, continues.
