I have an HP computer with a Epson ET-3710 printer. Within the last 6 months, I kept getting the printed message "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host: Local host" I tried all the suggested solutions here and only one worked for me and was mentioned in one of the replies. Go into "Services" and disable the "HP Print Scan Doctor Service" which was set to "automatic" by default (be sure to click "apply"). This stopped the printed message for me. I also have a Lenovo laptop, but since it is Lenovo I don't have the "HP Print Scan Doctor Service" in services and have never gotten the "GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host: Local host" printed message on by Epson ET-2750 printer hooked to it. Just a note that initially I set the "HP Print Scan Doctor Service" to "manual" from "automatic" but upon reboot of the computer I was getting the printed message again. The reboot switched the "manual" setting back to "automatic" Thus the reason for disabling the service. I don't see any noticeable effect on the Epson printer because of disabling this service.
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.

2023-12-14T19:26:21+00:00 You're welcome. I did test it a few times by powering down my printer and then powering it on. I'll see if it works tomorrow morning, though. LOL.

First time I have seen this one.
I have unselected them and will see if that cancels the issues.

Fix 4 – Uncheck the information notifications for printers
Actually, when local printers are showing the notifications, this incurs the eSCL error.
Step 1 – Type “printer” after pressing the Windows key.
Step 2 – Then, tap “Printers & scanners” to open that.
Step 3 – Then, scroll down to the end on the right-hand pane. Tap “Print server properties“.
Step 4 – Make sure to head on to the “Advanced” tab.
Step 5 – Then, make sure to uncheck these two options –
Show informational notifications for local printers
Show informational notifications for network printers
Step 6 – Save the settings. Tap “Apply” and “OK“.
Try to print a test page now and test. You won’t see the “Get/eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host: localhost” error message in the printer page.
