My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

    Although mine is an Epson WF110, this Brother solution seems to have worked (I have two Brother printers not hooked up to USBs, so I'm ready if I ever need to reconfigure their connection).

    Cause
    <ul style=""><li style=""><p data-prewrap="true"><span style="">This issue occurs when the Windows print notification setting is enabled</span></p></li></ul>
    Resolution
    To resolve this issue, turn off the Windows print notifications for local printers:<br><br>1. Open Settings.<br><br>2. Click Bluetooth & Devices.<br><br>3. Click Printers & scanners.<br><br>4. Scroll down until you get to the "Related settings" category. Click Print server properties.<br><br>Related Settings<br><br>5. Click the Advanced tab.<br><br>Advanced tab<br><br>6. Remove the check from Show informational notifications for local printers.<br><br>7. Click Apply → OK.<br><br>- If the message no longer appears, then the issue is resolved.<br><br>- If the message continues to appear, do the following:<br><br><br><br>Since this is a Microsoft-related issue, we recommend that you report the problem to Microsoft to assist them in providing a possible solution.<br><br>Alternatively, since these cases affect USB connections to the printers, if your machine is equipped with networking options, disconnect the USB cable and connect the machine wirelessly or by ethernet (if available).

    I finally gave up on the USB connection for my WF 110. That printer has a WiFi direct support I now use. The inconvenience is that when travelling I cannot use WiFi while printing but since I can use my cell as a hotspot via a USB connection (and normally avoid public WiFi, just in case) the workaround is adequate. MS seems resolved to ignoring this just like they've ignored for over 20 years how floating graphics in MS Word will print over top of document footers. Just apparently not worth MS' attention.

    has ANYONE gotten a fix to this?
    I have a Epson Ectotank 2850 that does this as wlel.
