GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

This PC > Windows (C:) > Program Files HPPrintScanDoctor

Then there are 4 Application files:

    HPPrinterHealthMontior

    HPPrintScanDoctorDeploymentMgr

    HPPrintScanDoctorService

    HPSUPD-Win32Exe

I wasn't sure which of these was causing the problem, so I just edited ahead of each one with the word TEMP and a space.

    Hope this works for you.

Sounds great! Can you please display the path of the folders?

    Thanks,

    Greetings to all:

I finally got my Epson printer to quit printing these status messages.

I had to take the solution that was offered earlier.

There are 4 or so HP files that are causing this.

The solution was in one of the last postings.

You just edit the folder names by putting the words TEMP in front of the HP folder name.

    Worked for me.

Same with my Epson Eco Tank ET-2800. It prints a scanner status page at least once every day and when not printing the head moves back and forth every 9 seconds. The sound is highly annoying and I am tired of wasting paper.
