The tech at one stage talked about an optional additional part that I may have been able to purchase. 'Card' was probably the wrong word. It may have been called something else. I didn't absorb the information fully because I wasn't interested at the time for the extra cost. I was happy enough to plug it in until this printing error popped up. :)
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.

2024-08-04T06:46:41+00:00 Sounds like the only option at the moment. My printer is relatively new and I didn't get the wifi card for it. For the amount of times I print something these days, it's not worth the money to go wifi. i'll just have to do as Mary suggested and turn it off when I'm not using it to save paper and ink.
Thanks heaps.

2024-08-03T06:35:23+00:00 Thanks so much. It looks like that is what I'll have to do for now. Hopefully Microsoft will have an update soon. Unfortunately my printer doesn't have wifi capability option so I can't choose wifi. :(
