YES THIS! This was exactly what I needed. Problem fixed.
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.

2024-05-07T14:27:21+00:00 I didn’t need to find that, see the latest one I posted, none of the other directions worked for me, only the latest post where I thanked the person who submitted their suggestion.

2024-05-05T14:04:26+00:00 I got the same advice from EPSON and it did not work.
The solution that was provided earlier about adding the word TEMP to the HP health check files worked for me and is still working.

2024-05-05T13:47:28+00:00 I have this problem with an Epson WF-3820 running on Windows 10. Epson support advised that I should completely disconnect the printer from the computer, delete it from the "Devices" Control Panel page, and then re-install it. That did not work. Leaving it shut off until I have something to print and then shutting it back off as soon as it is done seems to keep it from thinking about running that line.
