Not sure if you have seen my couple of comments on this, one posted April 26. Maybe you have that service running for some reason. Could be if you ever had an HP printer.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

2024-05-25T10:10:40+00:00 Funnily, I have had the same issue today with my Brother MFC-L371OCW which is using Windows 11. However, I have not had any updates since 16th May and have been using the computer and printer on days before today and the computer has gone into Sleep mode most days. But today, I get for the first time the exact same issue. My printer has been connected all along for months via USB, so it is strange that it should suddenly start today. I have also checked and the printer has not updated its firmware and notifications are turned off.
Any advice would be great, but I dont hold my breath that it will come from Microsoft given how long this thread has been running.
Might be time to kick Windows into touch and go over to Linux!

2024-05-24T23:22:41+00:00 Same issue with my Dell E525w and using Windows 10. Started when I updated windows. Not sure what version or when exactly. Can someone please advise as to the fix. Using up a lot of paper and ink.
I have tried the fixes above, but no solution and don't have the option to use via WIFI, need to have it plugged into my desktop via USB.
Please advise as to a fix.

2024-05-23T19:52:50+00:00 Some more follow up. I looked at the Task Scheduler in Windows 11 for my Epson 4100. I have multiple entries that trigger at different times every day and then repeat hourly.
You are definitely on to something. This might explain some of my problem. I should not have multiple triggers defined. There should only be 1. And the definition of the trigger is different.
Having said that, I'll experiment. I can always set it back.
