GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I removed the USB cable and installed the WIFI for my Epson ET-3710 printer. I went to www.epson.com/support/ET3710 and followed the installation. So far my printer hasn't printed out: GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HJTTP/1.1 Host: localhost

    Hopefully it is now fixed?

The suggestion to remove the USB connection and only use printer over the network worked for me. Windows 11. Just wanted to report back and say thanks, as I was struggling and that did it!

I'm getting really tired of the situation with the printing of the message. I'm using up ink and paper. I have to shut-off my printer. Every time that Windows 11 wakes up after being asleep, it starts to print out the message at the top of the page. The print head continues to go back and forth. In order to stop my Epson ET-3710 from printing, I go to settings and then to my printer and I then print out a test page. That will stop the printing of the message until Windows goes back to sleep and wakes up again. It's a real nuisance and Windows or Epson needs to address and fix it. It's been going on way too long.

Interestingly, my Epson WF4740 is now printing this scanner message on the top of each 1st page or 1st time printing a doc when using the COPY function and ADF.
