My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

Just started a couple of weeks ago for me too - wondering if there was a windows update around that time. I am wasting so much paper and it's really really annoying

Same here. But this has only just started happening over the last couple of weeks. It suddenly started wasting sheets of paper with the messaged typed onec, twice or 3 times. I've had to put scrap paper in so that I have to put fresh sheets in the printer when I actually want to print. This is a nuisance, as it's my on-all-the-time distance printer that I can access from anywhere, and now I can't use it that way. I spent a good half hour on the phone to Epson, who thought they'd cured it. I've tried the 'fix' on here, but spooling is set to auto already and I can't find the referred-to print preference. Sounds like another long call to Epson, but at least this time I'll know it seems to be a Microsoft problem.

When oh when will Microsoft take responsibility for these issues and actually answer our questions? I'm still wrestling with the toolbar issues...

They may being trying to sell you something. I am not using Infinity. Someone suggested uninstalling printer and then setting it up with Wifi instead of cable. I did this and not sure what I did but it seems to have quit. My printer is attached directly to the computer by cable. I have my fingers crossed. I have tried it 3 different times and it is not doing it. I hope it lasts. Good luck.

Just got off the phone with Microsoft, they say it has to do with Xfinity, that the firewall is not protected properly and that there are over 20 devices using the ip address, he thought others were using my address as well, I think he was just trying to sell me anti virus , but I am calling Xfinity to see if they can put a higher security on the ip

This error was fixed in the system update PRIOR to the current one. This week, Microsoft sent an system update and the error is back. Why can't Microsoft keep things straight? I am so aggravated with the waste of paper and the MONTHS and MONTHS it is taking to fix this. It gets fixed and less than a month later Microsoft breaks it again.
