Following the edits to the Windows printer settings, the printer remained "quiet" for several weeks. Then, following a software update from Epson, it began printing the report again. I then went into the HP settings and adjusted the printer commands (you will find those guidelines in an earlier part of this thread). The printer has not tried to produce the report for several weeks.
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.
