My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I'm getting really tired of the situation with the printing of the message. I'm using up ink and paper. I have to shut-off my printer. Every time that Windows 11 wakes up after being asleep, it starts to print out the message at the top of the page. The print head continues to go back and forth. In order to stop my Epson ET-3710 from printing, I go to settings and then to my printer and I then print out a test page. That will stop the printing of the message until Windows goes back to sleep and wakes up again. It's a real nuisance and Windows or Epson needs to address and fix it. It's been going on way too long.

Interestingly, my Epson WF4740 is now printing this scanner message on the top of each 1st page or 1st time printing a doc when using the COPY function and ADF.

I have a Brother MFC-L8900CDW and this problem started the minute I updated to Windows 11. It is extremely frustrating as it is wasting a ton of paper and ink. My printer is used in my office repeatedly throughout the day and I have a massive stack of wasted paper. I have also had to reprint documents numerous times when I needed paper other than the standard printer paper and the message prints on the specialized paper. Microsoft, please figure this out. It has been going for several months now and I don't understand how there is no fix for it yet.

Thanks for the feedback (RDet and Eunice).

On my end, using the printer on WiFi, and uninstalling/removing the USB designated printer, works fine. I ran the printer all weekend without any issue. But, this morning when I reconfigured to a USB connection (which is something I need to use- WiFi isn't an option for me), the problem started up again.

These printers aren't super cheap, so I'm hoping they can resolve whatever conflict is occurring, here. Having to go buy a different printer is not ideal.

The one thing I haven't been able to try is this "printer status notification" portal, so I'm hoping Edward@microsoft can assist.
