I have a canon imageClass MF264dw and I keep getting a print error on paper - Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host: Localhost Just last night it printed out 5 times wasting paper. This seems to be happening to may people with different printers. I am on windows 11 and it seemed to start about 2 updates ago.
GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.
My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!
End.

2024-02-02T19:50:57+00:00 I do not see William Blum1's reply.
Still have the problem.
When I turn on my second printer/scanner, my other printer starts printing out the message multiple times.
Also, when I go to settings/printers the reply starts to happen.

2024-02-01T22:14:55+00:00 Hello, deleting remove HP Print/scan doctor from your computer app. Then restart your computer. It should work.
Good Luck!
Sandy
I have done that and it still happens. The only constant that I seem to see is people being able to go wireless which my printer is unable to do. It began happening 2 years ago when I upgraded to Windows 11 and then I was able to stop it using one of these solutions, but only for 3 months or so (it has been so long now that the dates and lengths of "fixes" have become hazy) and then it always returns. SO far, if I unplug it frome the computer at the end of the day and wait until I have started my computer/wake then it will only print the one page instead of the masses of pages over night /over the weekend that it normally does.
