My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

Hello, deleting remove HP Print/scan doctor from your computer app. Then restart your computer. It should work.

    Good Luck!

As this is a VERY LONG discussion thread, you may not have seen this solution which worked perfectly for me (Win 11, Epson XP-4100 printer). Note that ALL the changes are made in Windows settings, not in your printer software:

    Cause
<ul style=""><li style=""><p data-prewrap="true"><span style="">This issue occurs when the Windows print notification setting is enabled</span></p></li></ul>
    Resolution
To resolve this issue, turn off the Windows print notifications for local printers:<br><br>1. Open Settings.<br><br>2. Click Bluetooth & Devices.<br><br>3. Click Printers & scanners.<br><br>4. Scroll down until you get to the "Related settings" category. Click Print server properties.<br><br>5. Click the Advanced tab.<br><br>6. Remove the check from Show informational notifications for local printers.<br><br>7. Click Apply → OK.<br><br>- If the message no longer appears, then the issue is resolved.<br><br>- If the message continues to appear, do the following:<br><br>Since this is a Microsoft-related issue, we recommend that you report the problem to Microsoft to assist them in providing a possible solution.<br><br>Alternatively, since these cases affect USB connections to the printers, if your machine is equipped with networking options, disconnect the USB cable and connect the machine wirelessly or by ethernet (if available).
