My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

Did you turn off all automatic updates?

I also have an Epson printer. I've tried the Epson "Help Desk" solution of uninstalling and reinstalling more times than I can count and, of course, that doesn't solve the problem. My computer repair tech suggested that I disconnect the USB cable and use it as a network printer, which I have yet to try. He tells me he has seen this issue in some Win 10 machines as well.

I use an EPSON printer--so I doubt if any HP software exists on my system.

    Thanks anyway.

This is happening to me on my Epson WF-110. Being a printer designed for portability, the USB connection is important (hotel wifi's being somewhat risky). The printout will occur randomly, not just when the printer is turned on. There is no way to eject to a clean page other than cycling the printer power. The printer is still moderately usable provided I send a print job to it before the "ScannerStatus" text begins (as an extra irritation, this printer has no scan function, which presumably is what "ScannerStatus" is referring to). Once that text prints, the print head moves back and forth every few seconds, ceaselessly. This is probably not Epson's fault but I may have to return the printer because of this.

I have an EPSON printer, so I don't have HP Print Scan Doctor installed.

    Now what?

I have a Et-2800 printer, delete Go into your app uninstall, fine the HP Print Scan Doctor Service in your app and uninstall it, then you restart your computer. it should work. I have no problems at all now.

    Good luck!
