GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

What if all three options are turned OFF--and the ANNOYING "Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1

Host: Localhost" message prints out ANYWAY?! Should I send my printer ink and paper bills to MICROSOFT--seeing as they seem to think that we have an ENDLESS supply? LOL

I use an EPSON printer--so I doubt if any HP software exists on my system.

    Thanks anyway.

I went in and deleted (uninstalled) all the extra HP garbage. So far so good. All you really need is the drivers anyway.

I had Et-2800 printer, someone to delete Go into your app uninstall, fine the HP Print Scan Doctor Service in your app and uninstall it, then you restart your computer. it should work. I have no problems at all now.

    Good luck!

I got my printer to work like new.

    Thanks,

    Paul
