GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I've read a lot of forums about this and the things that remains consistent about this issue, is that it continues and that MS does not respond to any of the forums. Every make of printer is having the same issue and and largely under the same environments and they choose to do nothing about the problem they created.

Same issue with me for my Brother Laser. Don't know if this possible solution was brought up previously but just found this link "GET/eSCL/ScannerStatus/HTTP/1.1" printing unexpectedly - Windows (brother-usa.com) which I'm hoping will fix my issue.

Since it addresses informational notifications for local printers under print server properties I thought it might be a viable solution for me/others? If not, sorry...

    Will soon find out.

If totally uninstalling your printer, disconnecting the USB cable, reinstalling the printer using Wi-Fi only and/or switching off the printer notifications hasn't worked for you then then all that's left is to wait for a patch from Microsoft and, until then, hit the Delete Print on wake up.

    Sorry, that's all I have.
