GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I have just cured after months! Connect ONLY with wifi and NOT usb. QED.

I have a Brother MFC-L37500CDW multi-function printer/scanner. Was working fine. Upgraded to Windows 11 and now whenever it wakes up from sleeping, it prints a 2-line page saying:

    Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1

    Host: Localhost

Uninstalled Printer, reinstalled -- no change

Updated printer firmware -- no change

Switched USB cable to another USB port -- no change

From what I have seen on multiple forums, this is happening with multiple printers and multiple brands. The only constant is they are all connected via USB and all started happening when upgraded to Windows 11.

    Here's what worked for me:

I went to my Start menu, uninstalled "HP Smart" and have had no problems since. And I have an Epson printer.

Deleting all of the HP printer files. Fixed my printer. I had uninstalled all the programs. But it was still Having same issue... so I had to search through my program files. And delete all the HP program files that I could find Once Those were deleted printer works as it should.
