If you don't fix this, and by extension won't allow people to remove their old devices (like used to be possible long ago), don't you allow a security risk to exist?

Yeah, there's no remove option in Phone Link anymore. We also need to be able to remove devices from the "Mobile devices" section in Windows settings. It'd be best to manage mobile devices in just one single place.

Same issue here.
I also have the same issue. I just replaced my S21+ with an S24+. I have tried the REPAIR and RESET in settings and nothing same to have worked. Incidentally, after the RESET I had to restart my computer twice for phone link to come back up.
