    Exactly me too the same. MS needs to fix this security loop hole. I added feedback on my Windows 11 PC as well.

    You can open Settings / Bluetooth and other devices

    then scroll down to other devices

    select the device you want to delete

    and click remove

    On the device manager

    Open the Device Manager app.

    You can quickly open it pressing Win + X and selecting Device Manager from the menu.

    Click the View item on the menu bar.

    Click on Show hidden devices to add a check mark and make the hidden devices visible

    you can now delete any previously used device

    It is now December 2024. Will this issue be resolved anytime soon? I'm about to go searching around in the registry and yanking anything out that has my old phone name in it.

    Yeah was looking into a laptop and about Phone link just to test it, and not being able to remove the device is wild.
