Thank you for letting me know, Adrian. Good morning!

You can submit feedback and suggestions to the Microsoft development team using the Feedback Hub by pressing the Windows key + F key on your keyboard. However, if you can't find it in your system, it is possible that your PC is managed by a work or school organization.

I have submitted your feedback directly to the Microsoft team earlier. You can find the screenshot below of the submission.

If you'd like, you can click "Yes" below the response that provided the helpful solution. This way, any users who come across this thread with similar issues will find the steps and benefit as well.

    Thank you!

The new versions of Link to Windows, aka Phone Link, now allow you to delete redundant devices in the Phone Link app.

    https://yourwindowsguide.com/2026/07/remove-device-in-the-phone-link-app.html

The steps for the same are below:

    • Open the link to the Windows App on your Phone.
    • Click your Profile icon on the top left.
    • Subsequently, click Settings.
    • Under Device control, switch to the device you want to remove, then press the Gear button.
    • Click Remove device.

I am on a NEW Galaxy S25+ and the old S24+ cannot be removed from MS Phone Link. PERIOD!

    • I removed and disconnected the MS Phone Link from the S24+
    • I tried installing the old version of MS Phone Link and the S24+ was not listed to be removed. The S25+ was the only device listed.
    • I upgraded to the latest version of MS Phone Link 1.24121.855.0 and both the S24+ and S25+ are listed again.

How hard would it be to have a "Remove device from MS Phone Link" as an option on a previously connected devices?

Microsoft fix your software! Seriously, this is a common need that should be available. People change devices all the time. Phones may or may not be available to use if the old version has been sold or traded in.

Same issue here due to no fix from Microsoft.

Multiple phones listed in Phone Link, and no way to remove old ones, as they have been reset and sent back.

Microsoft, requiring someone to remove the link on an old device, which most people won't have, is ridiculous. It simply won't work.

Similarly, sending people to the online Device Management portal to remove devices there is also stupid advice, as the page clearly tells you that in that regard, Android Devices are not even allowed to be added to the online Device Management page - so they can't be removed using that option, as they will never appear there in the first place!

For goodness sake, give us the option to remove old, no longer owned phones, directly in the Phone Link app for security and privacy purposes!

There is no ellipsis and no menu. The old phone cannot be removed. What idiot designed this useless interface?
