Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I follow the steps in the Microsoft Store to try to switch out of S mode, all I get is a message:
"Something happened and we couldn't start the upgrade"
and a Try Again button.

how do i do this?
Darren is it possible for you to explain what you did in low tech words? I'm old and not a techie in any sense of the word. I want to try what you did to see if I can fix this problem I've been pulling my hair out for hours trying to fix on a brand new HP laptop that came with Safe mode installed so I can get back to using Firefox instead of the ridiculous Edge/Bing. Thank you!
