Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

    After 30 years of Windows I use a Mac because of the dock.

    Is there no realization that screens are getting WIDER and putting a long taskbar lengthwise along the bottom of an extremely wide screen is just not functional or aesthetic?

    Has anyone tried to click on the windows icon with a trackpad and move all the way across to the clock on an ultrawide monitor?

    Legend has it they are still on the way and will be able to right click the clock to check the calendar when windows 12 releases.

    Got it on the sides, finallly. Migrated back to windows 10 Pro. 24H2 game crashes is what convinced me. No more issues and I got my taskbar in the right side.

    I understand your frustration, and I'm here to provide information as a fellow Microsoft user. In Windows 11, the taskbar is designed to be aligned at the bottom of the screen by default. This design choice was made by Microsoft.

    Currently, you can only change the taskbar alignment from the default "Center" to "Left" by going to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors.

    If you want Microsoft to add this feature in the future, you can provide feedback using the Feedback Hub by pressing the Windows key + F.

    I too prefer the taskbar to the right of the screen, not down the bottom.

    I tried to do a feed back but that is so complicated that I gave up.

    Can Microsoft please add in the next update the ability to move the taskbar, left, right, bottom or top of the screen.

    Hello, thank you for your answer and YES, give the feedback to Microsoft.... I see no logical reason for this change of behaviour/settings...

    The option was already there... so did they loose something by having this available for users all this time?

    Sadly, Microsoft is in a monopoly state and think they can just do what they want... and users will get used to it..... that is the only way I can think of this..

    If people had bought only Apple products 30-40 years ago.... not sure we'd still be hearing about them... they should be a little more concions of this and show consideration
