Why we can't move the taskbar in windows11. Can we bring the updates in this version, to move the taskbar position?

Hello,

I am facing so much of difficulties while working, as I am habituated to use the task bar position to top or right side of the screen. but Windows 11 doesn't have this feature to move the taskbar. Could you please bring this solution, to move the task bar.

    We have our reasons. You do not get to decide where an object is permanently fixed on our screens. I personally want it to the right of my screen since I use my pc on the tv. Some want it to the top according to their preference or screen position. I guess I will look now to see if anyone ELSE has fixed your mistakes Microsoft.

    I understand your frustration, and I'm here to provide information as a fellow Microsoft user. In Windows 11, the taskbar is designed to be aligned at the bottom of the screen by default. This design choice was made by Microsoft.

    Currently, you can only change the taskbar alignment from the default "Center" to "Left" by going to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behaviors.

    If you want Microsoft to add this feature in the future, you can provide feedback using the Feedback Hub by pressing the Windows key + F.

    OMG

    I was NOT aware I JUST upgrated to Windows 11 from 10.

    I hate the taskbar at the bottom, driving me crazy and it cuts down on the height view on my laptop.

    I am surprised Microsoft went and took away that feature from us!!!

    Please let them know for me J.D..

    I may NOT have upgraded had I known. I do a LOT of genealogy and I NEED that extra height to screen copy docutments, sometimes to get it all in I have to remove the bookmark bar.

    NOW, it is even MORE imposible.

    I hate this new laptop, and now too I am thinking I hate this upgrade to Windows 11.

    We definitely all work differently. That's why we need a flexible taskbar (and system) that can be adjusted to our style and needs. On behalf of a lot of people here and myself, I kindly ask Microsoft colleagues to look into this option and let us, the users, choose the way we want to use the taskbar and organize our work.
