Hello I am encountering this error and unable to update, i have WinRe enabled, i tried this fix which seems it works always but for me doesnt https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb5028997-instructions-to-manually-resize-your-partition-to-install-the-winre-update-400faa27-9343-461c-ada9-24c8229763bf this link, now sure what to do now, i did step by step as instructed there, i did the troubleshoot didnt work, i tried repairing corrupted files didnt work too. Any fixes??thanks

    Bitlocker is a encyption drive right? I dont i use that at all i will hide the update then thanks for support!

    KB5034441 is a WinRE security update that fixes a Bitlocker vulnerability. You can hide the update if you don't use Bitlocker.

    But if you wish to install it anyway, the PowerShell script I posted should help.

    Okay so i have that WinRe enabled, is this update really neccessary to update is my pc gonna have problems moving on??

    I'm Ramesh, here to help you.

    The KB5034441 update failing with the error code 0x80070643 is a known issue. You can fix the issue by resizing the Recovery partition to 750 MB or more.

    Note: If you don't use Bitlocker, you can simply hide the update using the Microsoft diagcab tool here:

    You may use Microsoft's PowerShell script to automatically extend the Recovery partition.

    Note: Although the Microsoft script works perfectly and performs proper validations, it's generally a good idea to back up your data before modifying the disk layout.

    To extend the partition manually, please do the following:

    1. Post a screenshot of the Disk Management window (maximized).
    2. From an admin Command Prompt, run these commands: reagentc /info dir c:\windows\system32\recovery\ /a diskpart list disk sel disk 0 list part list vol
