The most recent Windows 10 updates stop my Roland GX24 cutter from working.

Is anyone aware that this is happening?

An issue caused by a recent Windows security update (version KB5039211) has disrupted communication between some Roland DGA drivers and their connected devices, primarily affecting cutters and engravers. As a temporary solution, Roland Care advises uninstalling this specific Windows update.

To uninstall the updates,

a. Go to Settings.

b. Select Windows Update and Security.

c. Select Update history.

d. Click Uninstall updates.

e. select the update installed - "Double-Click “Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5039211)”

f. Click on “Yes” to uninstall.

g. Once uninstalled, restart your computer.

    Sorry to say but this did not work for me. That particular update on Windows 10 is "un-uninstallable" for me. There is no option to uninstall it when I right click on it. I even tried through command prompt to uninstall it to no avail. And it is too late now for me to restore the machine to June 10. July 10 is my farthest back restore date. What the heck can I do now? Our cutter still won't operate. I understand we are waiting on a patch to get our Roland machines working but who know how long that will be. Can anyone help me solve this?

    This is so stupid! Over a month now and Microsoft hasn't fixed this issue. My Roland won't work even after uninstalling KB5039211. It worked for a couple days, but not now. Uninstalling KB5040427 didn't fix it today either. I also stopped the updates, but it continues to update and add it back onto the computer anyway. Ridiculous Microsoft! FIX THIS ISSUE!

    Hi, so i did this 2 times because it kept re installing but now its now not showing me the update to uninstall do you know how i can resolve this because now my business has cone to a stop as i cant use the cutter

    Same for me. It appears that the security update is now called KB5040427. I just uninstalled that one from 7/11 and it worked for me.
