In previous version of windows 11 i am using wireless network from router but after updating the window 11 24H2 version i can't connect wireless network from router but i can connect smartphone's wifi and router through LAN cable.

I have done all the troubleshooting steps and update fixer, reset network through settings, deleted cache using command prompt and done all things using with forums or troubleshooting but still issue is not resolved.

If anyone can help then please give me suggestions to how to resolve this issue. I hope windows help center connect & give proper response to getting error fix.

Hi, I had a similar problem. Tried most of the things, you mentioned in your post. In the end, I found, the adapter was disabled in UEFI. Why do Win updates do anything in UEFI at all?

This solved my problem. I was on an HP EliteBook 840G6 if that tidbit helps anyone out. Thank you for taking time to post this.

    Same issue,

I updated to 242h through iso.

Then Windows update added cumulative KB5050094 and netframe KB5050577

Wi-fi adpater is working but i don't see my home network nor my phones hotspots. I can only connect via usb thetering.

So very weird. I tried uninstalling the Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 7265 and installing again.

Asus only provides old drivers for this adaptor.

I hope this is solved soon. Luckily I can still connect via usb thetering and lan cable.

    SOLVED!

Laptop Asus 303LB (a bit old)

Drivers for Intel Dual Band wireless was version 19.51

Using Intel Update service it updated to 20.100

I can see all wi-fi networks now, including mine!

Since you are on this thread from your tablet you can look through it and see a bunch of suggestions. They don't all work for everyone so you might need to try a few of them to find one that works you. Some of them are rather techy like editing the registry but many of them aren't too bad.

The one that worked for me was the first suggestion in the second post in this thread by Arvind Kumar. Delete the driver for the WiFi adapter and reboot the PC. There are some instructions on how to do that. Took me a few to identify the WiFi adaptor, but you don't have to worry too much since Win will reload any drivers you delete.

Maybe you know someone who has a bit more tech know-how who could help. Otherwise try to do it and come back here for assistance if you can't figure something out.

Another option is to rollback the 24H2 update. Then you should have internet so you can contact MS or whatever.
