G Pro X Wireless plays mute/unmute sound when audio starts or volume is changed

I'm having this issue since updating to Windows 11 24H2, I've talked to Logitech support and they said since this is only happening on my PC and not others, its a Windows 11 update issue.

Here is what they said:

I understand your concern. I request you to contact Windows support as you are facing the issue after the Windows 11 update. There are high chances of audio drivers not updated properly. Hence, if you contact Windows support they will help you reinstall the software.

Please advise on how I should proceed, I've also linked a Reddit post with people having the same issue:

    I have tried all these suggestions and nothing works :( veery annoying.. Or listen this device but that doesnt work for me, i dont wanna hear myself when speaking to some1

    I tried every suggested thing.. Only thing what worked was to install clean windows 10 and then i patched it up and now its working correctly.. I updated to win 11 and beeping started again, rolled back to windows 10 and no more beeps. I hope they fix this issue it has been like 6months now? I dont wanna buy new 200€ headset because of this :/

    The permanent listening/recording solution is unfortunately the only workaround that actually works for me, likely for a lot of others as well. To avoid hearing yourself a possible solution is to select a playback device that you are not using, like the speakers of your monitor for example.

    Sound Settings -> Additional Settings -> Recording tab -> Logitech G Pro X Wireless Gaming Headset microphone -> Properties -> Listening tab -> check the listen box but DO NOT choose Logitech G Pro X Wireless Gaming Headset from the drop down menu, instead choose whatever device you are not actively using and mute it (a monitor, a controller with sound, whatever you are able to select and won't hear).

    Be mindful that updating your windows seems to reset these settings and you may have to do it again.

    All this being said, having to resort to workarounds like this is absolutely comical, and I desperately hope Logitech sues for damages since Microsoft is directly causing their existing customers to return their products, as well as influencing potential customers to outright refuse to buy. Even in this thread some earlier comments suggest to buy headsets from different brands to solve the problem...

    Issue solved?

    The beeping stopped for me following the Windows 11 KB5053598 update, which I installed on 03-14.

    Prior to the update, I was doing the "Listen to this Device" trick, and unchecking that option when I needed to get on a call. I used that process on a call following the latest update, and left the option unchecked after the call. I found that the beeping had stopped, and I'm now able to hear myself in the headset, with no echo.

    I also noticed that the Logi software updated when I ran it today to adjust the sidetone on the headset. So maybe Logitech and/or Microsoft finally fixed the issue?

    I do still hear an echo when I'm connected to Zencastr, an online podcast recording platform, but I can deal with that
