Windows 11 deactivated after 24h2 update

I updated my computer today to 24H2 and after it rebooted it requested me to activate my copy of Windows Home. I attempted to using the key that I have but it says that it can't.

I have inserted a screenshot below. If you need any further information please let me know.

    I have an issue where I have moved from an old PC that had a Windows 10 Home key.. I have tried using it on my new PC but it's no longer activated.

    It accepted the key when I installed the OS (Win 10) and then I carried out an update to Windows 11.. and now it's no longer activated.

    I also had a key from another HP machine that I am now selling but it won't accept that either...

    I'm having a similar issue. I have a Windows 11 Proessional edition of Windows, and it was previously activated and working fine under 23H2. However, every time I try to do the upgrade to 24H2, I get a notification that WIndows is not activated, and the product key I had previously used for 23H2 does not seem to work properly. Therefore, I have reverted back to 23H2 every time, but that's only a temporary solution. I would like to know how to resolve this for good so I don't keep getting prompted to update to 24H2.

    So I solved the problem:

    I did 300 kilometers

    To explore a dozen boxes in my storage

    To find the official enveloppe from my Windows 11 licence I bought.

    Last day of my "please re register the widows you bought" message on screen.

    I was careful and I took a photo of the licence before I put it in storage, I was a few letters off because of the hologram.

    I feel the pain of the guy who has 50ish windows codes with 50ish computers and has to try which goes with which, god bless.

    Check your PC case. You may be lucky like me and have a sticker with key on your case left by the builder.
    My issue is the OEM license key is no longer accepted by Microsoft (its never been shared!)

    Had the same issue myself today after 24h2 wiped my windows key.

    Thankfully still had the orig key and could reactivate.

    But and this is a BIG BUT.

    **** is this even a thing? Microdaft seem to have no problem wipeing peoples keys with a dodgey update even though its very clearly a known issue.

    Think its time MS got taken to court again for what essentialy boils down to malware and annoying legit customers.
