Double click on Microsoft Network Client: Digitally sign communications (always)
Double click on Microsoft Network Client: Digitally sign communications (if server agrees)
Set both of these to "Disabled"

How old is your NAS?

Does it support SMB3/2, or only SMB1?

I had to change some settings in my Synology as well, to allow server signing

you could install SMB 1 under windows features even if this is not recommended

Admittedly my Conceptronic Ch3HNAS NAS drives are fairly long in the tooth now but I have always been able to browse their content using Windows file Explorer, up to and including windows 11 Pro Version 23/H2. I can also confirm that SMB 1 and 2 are ticked under Windows Additional Features. Therefore, having tried all the various "fixes" detailed in this and other threads, I can only conclude that update 24/H2 has introduced a, so far, unacknowledged anomaly. I am left to wonder why there has been so little input from Microsoft to this official Microsoft Community thread?

I followed everyone's suggestions to allow the "everyone" account to access the shares, but nothing works. I have just re-installed version 14H2 and noticed one thing: they removed SMB2 and SMB3 support and left only SMB1 (the one they recommend we not use). I surrendered for a while and used login PIN numbers on all the computers. All works, but it is a hassle I don;t need. I also created shares on TrueNas and Openmediavault, which work flawlessly. I am using Kubuntu right now to see if I can migrate all the shares to something easier to configure. Apparently, Kubuntu is working perfectly. It recognizes my wireless NIC, my printers and even my Brother scanner. It is passworded by default, which may be the reason for the flawless connection. The good thing is that I can bypass the password at login if configured at set up. BTW, I also miss the Home Group. MS will need to simplify the process if they want clients to adopt 24H2 more quickly.

I have tried all of the above suggestions and none worked. I have stumbled upon a sort of work around. I have a USB attached to my router and could see just fine under 23H2, updated to 24H2 and the USB is no longer findable. I reinstalled 23H2 and USB was visible. Her is my work around. Under 23H2 I went into File Explorer and pinned my readyshare\USB to Quick Access. After installing 24H2 I noticed that the USB was still pinned to Quick Access and I could open it and read and write to it. I can not see the readyshare\USB on the network nor can I find any information about its, but it works. Maybe those of you with more knowledge of Windows 11 can use this information to determine how to map to the network USB.
