switch pro controller not detected by pc on a new install

my pc (new install) doesnt detect my switch controller while wired, it doesnt make a noise when i connect it either, does anyone know why, usb port and cable are both fine as they worked before on my old install

    also which drivers would i need to copy and from where? how do i find out which if you dont know

    also i restarted my system while dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth and sfc /scannow where running am i fine?

    It should be fine. It will reinstall itself after a restart. If not, we can download the drivers from the manufacturer.

    11 also i heard something about uninstalling a whole composite usb is that fine to do?

    Yes, that's possible, but first, is it also Windows 11? or 10? if it is 11, please try to copy it over.
