Anyway to not update to 24H2 but still get security updates?

Hey, I have a question about windows Update, is there anyway to stay on 23h2 but still get security updates without upgrading to 24h2 automatically I just have updates pauzed for now but I still want security patches, I've heard there have been a lot of issues on 24h2 so thought id ask. Also other updates just not 24H2

    This behavior of MS is just unacceptable! 24H2 is full of bugs that makes the PC unusable for work yet they force this pile of **** on us.
    If hou have MS software on your PC then that PC is not yours anymore. It is just a toy for MS to play with.

    I had the same thing happen today - got the "24H2 will install when you restart" message and I didn't want to install it due to some audio/mic issues on another computer (24H2) that were not occurring on my computer (23H2). I clicked on the "Pause updates" drop-down and changed it from 1 week to 5 weeks and then my computer showed a spinner for a long time on the Windows Update setting screen, then eventually told me I would not receive updates until late February (in 5 weeks). So seems like changing the "Pause updates" drop-down will roll the 24H2 update back and buy you some time if MS has already cued it for restart.

    The odd bug I could handle. Breaking my £400 VR headset just because Microsoft don't feel like putting the necessary code in the installer any more, however, is totally unacceptable.

    For all those that say "just don't click the red stuff" etc. How many of you can trust all your users not to do it anyway?

    Not true. Windows continues to download 24H2 and tell me I have to restart. I don't want this update as it always locks up my system until I safely uninstall it.
