近期發現修改 regedit 這不是完美的作法，有些軟體可以逃脫這個方式繼續引發問題。

目前更完美的作法是有人提到的GPO限制新增列表機。

我發現確實不需要改回舊介面，不會再產生，但可能之後要新增列表機要暫時解開此設定。

開始執行>>gpedit.msc>本機電腦原則>使用者設定>系統管理範本>控制台>列表機

這個做法我測試，的確不會產生同樣問題，也不需要改回舊介面，只是當需要新增列表機的時候要暫時解除。

Interesting. However, our users are all local administrators and the problem seems to happen randomly. The registry entry only affects the print dialog from within Edge/Chrome and as most of our users are printing from Edge I see a great reduction in the chatter on 22222. However, as another admin posted, the problem happens when users print from apps, like Excel, Acrobat. It therefore has to be something to do with the new print selector. As you point out, they aren't trying to install a printer, it must be the print dialog that is searching..

By far the biggest broadcasters are those that don't have the registry entry set, It would appear that this entry only affects printing from the browser and doesn't revert the print selection window to the old version in Excel or other apps.
