HP Scanner's broke with 24H2 updates

After the 24H2 updates the HP Scanner 2000s2 and the N4000 series scanners will not work. It all happened when the host USB drivers updated. Has anyone had this issue and if so do you have a fix. All scanners in our school district were working great until the 24H2 was pushed out.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Looks like this affected WIA drivers too but, not just TWAIN. Have a similar problem with TWAIN drivers for Fujitsu Fi-7160 and 8170 scanners with the 24H2 Windows 11 build.

    According to Microsoft, the December 10th KB5048667 update fixed the issue:

    Please post if this update did succeed in fixing your scanner. Testing on one of our computers at a location right now.

    As of 12/16/2024, the KB5048667 update has NOT fixed our issue. We still have dozens of users affected across multiple HP scanner models and dozens of Dell and Microsoft models. VERY big deal for us.

    It has not fixed our issue either. It did until the system was rebooted. We have HP ProBook s in district.

    So frustrating!

    Thanks for your sharing your experience. I can confirm the update did not fix the issue for us either.

    HP Scanning software not working after December 10th updates.

    BUT Naps2 software is working (possibly intermittently) but this is not something I want pushed to many staff. This is probably last priority for some locations but really, this is over two months now and affecting businesses worldwide.
