I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11 24H2 since October 4 2024 using it's installation assistant, but after nearly a month of using it, I've ran into having bugs, issues and slow Windows startup speeds.
I can't stand with bugs on 24H2 anymore, so my last option is to probably roll back to Windows 11 23H2, but the "rollback option" was greyed out for over 10 days.
Is it possible to downgrade to Windows 11 23H2 without losing any data? Thanks.

10 days to roll back is a dumb criteria and I pay good money for the license, the regular user not going test every feature and peripheral in that time frame. It should be unlimited roll back to one previous major release. And the same for the ISO. I now have a peripheral I use infrequently but do need to use it and cannot get it to work until I can either rollback or hope the OEM decides to create an updated driver.
This is terrible; Microsoft has made it so that many games, including newer ones, are practically unplayable...
Not having access to roll back a patch just makes people angry...

I just want to express how much I hate Microsoft for this 24H2 nonsense. This update has broken so many of my apps. They crash when I try to use them. No, turning off the Auto HDR does not help. No, I do not have an "old" folder because Windows deleted it. No, I do not have a previous recovery point that I can restore to because for some stupid reason Windows does not auto create those anymore. Not a single one of your "solved" threads has provided any actual solution to this complete garbage of an update. The only option I am left with is doing a clean install, meaning I have to backup 1.5TB of vital files, and lose all of my apps and saved information.
I will tell you this: If the ONLY option is a clean install, it's going to be a clean install of Linux.

What are you even talking about? You were rambling on and on and on about Windows 7 and Windows 10 and Windows 11 and yeah, some manufacturer's pc and all this other crazy stuff it doesn't make any sense. Any of it, everything you just said makes no sense.

I seriously cannot understand one single thing you said.In that whole sixteen paragraph rant and I would think if somebody's going to rant about something they want to at least have everybody be able to understand what it is they're ranting about, right? I can guarantee you. Nobody knows what you're ranting about. Because it's impossible to understand any of it.

I am also experiencing some issues with the update, but mine is that I can't use a ethernet cable anymore as I am not able to either play games or watch video's. I am hoping that it's tied to the 24H2 update.
