Problem in network Windows 11 24h2

After updating to the new Windows 11h2, some machines experienced network issues with both cable and Wi-Fi. They connect but don’t get network access and receive an IP address starting with 169…, resulting in no internet or network connection. I updated drivers, firmware, and reset the network settings. The machines’ MAC addresses haven’t changed. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

    I may have this figured out - for my case anyway. The new ADMX templates include 2 new settings related to DNS. I tried the one and that didnt' work, so I tried the other and now I'm always getting DNS. The setting in group policy editor;

    Turn off default IPv6 DNS Servers HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\DNSClient!DisableIPv6DefaultDnsServers At least Windows Server 2012 Windows 8 or Windows RT If you enable this policy the DNS client will not use the default IPv6 DNS server addresses provided by Windows.

    I enabled this setting to effectively turn off the default IPV6 DNS addresses. WHY??? WHY???? WHY? is this even a thing? And why does it need to be turned off? This should be one of those settings that the unconfigured option should have the default provided dns addresses disabled. OY, Microsoft!

    O meu deu o mesmo problema na atualização, 23H2 para 24H2, a store diz que não tenho conexão, na primeira não consegui fazer a reversão, mas quando conectei o Android via usb e liguei o Tethering foi concluída reversão do sistema.

    Well, Microsoft will release updates today. Do you guys know about the possibility to this issue be addresses on the monthly updates that is about to be released?

    Another thing, It is clear that it is a 24H2 issue, how to correctly report this issue to Microsoft? Is there some special channel to follow, engage?

    This post states that "It is clear that the is a 24H2 issue". But is everyone 100% sure of that? Is it possible that this is something installed in this update, - That also impacts Win 10? 22H2?
    I ask because I still have Win10 and the last "Quality" update I got on my PC Cause exactly the same issues as I am reading about here. No Internet connectivity. I boot and everything comes up normally except that I do not connect to my LAN automatically like the last 1000 times I booted in the last few yrs. Only this time as soon as I hit connect, I crash.

    Every single time. All of the details I read here about this Win11 issue are very similar or the same in other cases to what I was seeing when I investigated my issue. Since my PC was ~7 yrs. old, and I wanted a newer rig, I gave up and bought a new Win11 machine and so far, This one has been ok, but I have paused future updates for a week until I find out what is going on...

    Maybe this muddies the waters a bit but I want to be sure this wasn't in Win11 that was Also in the Win10 Qual update...
