On that site, I found a reference:

that claims to be "22H2".
Of course, downloading from any non-official site is not recommended.

After updating to the new Windows 11h2, some machines experienced network issues with both cable and Wi-Fi. They connect but don’t get network access and receive an IP address starting with 169…, resulting in no internet or network connection. I updated drivers, firmware, and reset the network settings. The machines’ MAC addresses haven’t changed. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

2024-12-19T16:11:37+00:00 A little update for who is still searching for a solution and don't want to touch regedit and stuff like that: I had to format my PC because I joined the Insider program (Dev channel) in order to receive a quicker fix and after reinstalling Windows 11 24H2 APPARENTLY for now the problem has disappeared.
I couldn't find a good ISO for the 23H2 version. -

Is Windows file-sharing enabled on that "one" machine?
Is it configured into the same domain as the others?
Does its "hostname" confusingly match the "hostname" of any of the other computers on your network?

2024-12-18T00:17:18+00:00 Thank you! This completely fixed my issue. It’s the only solution I’ve found. The give away for me was that the connection was showing two active networks, and was unable to properly setup the DHCP connection on IPv4 only.
After making this registry edit and restarting the service everything is working properly. Total lifesaver!

2024-12-17T22:37:56+00:00 This thread is all over the map now, but in regards to the network connection problem after updating to Windows 11 24H2, here is the issue we discovered.
Symptom: After the 24H2 update, the PC would boot up and show connected to the network for a few moments and then disconnect. (Wired and Wireless).
In our environment, the WPAD service had been disabled for security reasons. After the update, the Windows Network Connection Manager Service is dependant on WPAD service running before it will start. We were able to work around the issue by removing the WPAD dependency from WNCMS in the registry.Ultimately, re-enabling the WPAD service (which is default for Windows) will allow the WNCM service to start normally and network resources will be available.
