    The smart sound driver on my pc is not functioning and shows a yellow triangle. Every one of several different attempta to update has failed.

    I downloaded a driver update program that "found" the internal speakers, and downloaded what they needed to "be" speakers again. (IOBIT Advanced System Care, Driver Booster Pgm)
