Hello, I know this is an old post, but I am having the same problem where my laptop just says there are no input or output devices. I went into the services.msc and Audio Endpoint Builder is running but Windows Audio is not. I tried to start it but it says "Windows could not start the Windows Audio Service on Local Computer. Error 0x80070005: Access is denied." Is there anything you might know on how to fix this?
