install error -0x8007001f window 11 24h2 . download and install very good but when it goes to black screen to go 0% to 63 % directly .

After this it turn off and on normally show update underway only . and it on and show error install error -0x8007001f window 11 24h2

    Hi @legalstu,

    1. Please backup the registry using Acelogix RegBak.
    2. Open Regedit.exe and go to:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
    1. Expand the above branch and delete the following subkeys:

    S-1-5-21-1361115284-3308047737-940748054-1008

    S-1-5-21-1361115284-3308047737-940748054-1012

    S-1-5-21-1361115284-3308047737-940748054-1018

    S-1-5-21-1361115284-3308047737-940748054-1022

    4) Uninstall Kaspersky Total Security

    1. Rerun the Windows 11 24H2 setup.

    I realize now what's wrong. The SID's listed with each username from the wmic command does not match what's there in the registry. 2 of those entries you refer to remove is Administrator and DefaultAccount - but with wrong SID. The 3rd one is a duplicate of mine, as I needed to recreate my User some time back trying to fix this problem [the wrong way].
