An inquiry in Command Prompt with "net user" shows:

    pgsch as "administrator"

    schel as "default account"

    An inquiry with "netplwiz" shows:

    pgsch as "standard" user"

    schel as "administrator"

Not sure if this info is relevant re the duplicate profile error code you found?

    Hello Ramesh

I believe I have the same problem with my Win 11 Update for Version 24H2. I would really appreciate if you can have a look at my setupact log. Thank you.

I have the same issue, here is my log file.

These two SIDs are invalid, as per the log you shared.

    Open Regedit.exe and go to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

Export the branch to a REG file

    Delete these two subkeys:

    • S-1-5-21-4249010491-370991278-3619262684-1010
    • S-1-5-21-4249010491-370991278-3619262684-1012

    Re-run the Windows setup.
