Hello
I never had any problems with my PC .
Windows 11, version 24H2 update is ready to install, I approve the restart, it starts working, stops at 68% for 5 minutes, then restarts and turns off PC. When I booth back, it simply wants to download it and install it again.
Troubleshooter shows Error but offers no solution.
I have downloaded the ISO and followed all instructions, but 26% in, the installer just stops all goes back to windows and says Windows 11 instalation failed.
Any ideas?

Try a response in english. I'm not a programmer. Microsoft screwed this up. They need to fix it.
They expect you to buy new hardware or reinstall the operating system or take it to a repair shop. You are on self help. Ramesh on the link does help people by reading their log files but he must be a busy chap. You need to know your way around the system for people when guidance is given. If you don't, then you are stuck.
The problem with making command line corrections by ourselves is it relieves M$ of its responsibilities and liability issues.
They have to correct it or revert it.

About the reason(s), sorry but so-called security is just a bait. It smells more like some AI **** inserted into the app and, like I already said, a bunch of spywares and logical valves to remotely lock up some functionalities on demand.
Whatever is proposed, it's up to M$ to solve the issue they created post-contract, not to the customer.
Well they just messed this one up big time. Lost control of how upgrades work. You can see how it happened but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Quite a bit of miss direction out there on how to fix it.

I think it's utterly ridiculous and totally irresponsible to dish out a 10 GB update. Why is it necessary to do this? Mine has downloaded, but won't install. Even so, it's taken up my storage space where now I'm left with 2.3 GB. I'm no technician and don't have a clue how to put it right. The only remedy I have is to buy a Chromebook. You can shove Microsoft where the sun don't shine. The laptop I've had for the last 3 years is the worst pc imaginable. My pc backs up absolutely every single thing I do. I play a lot of poker and it backs up every game I play. It's mental. As a result I have to delete restore points probably 6 or 8 times day. Once deleted you have to wait for the animation to restore itself. Definitely the last Microsoft pc I ever own.
We can safely say it won't install with 2.3gb free !. The spec tells you. Six or something. That is one of the initial problems people have. Will let others tell you how to free up disk space. A lot on the net. Breakfast awaits. You always free up disk space before a back up else you back up stuff you don't want held in the recovery area. That's basic maintenance.
