Boot without primary partition

Hello,

My hard disk is starting to run very slow, so I'd like to boot my PC onto my ssd.

Would it be possible to change the main partition to put it on my ssd?

Ok, i will do that thanks, another question my laptop was on legacy mode but i’ve downloaded and put it on uefi mode and it is located on the ssd, is it a problem or we don’t care?

That is correct, just delete all partitions on Disk 1 until the whole disk is marked as Unallocated Space.

Yes, you can also delete the partitions form Disk 0, but ensure you select Disk 1 to install Windows onto.

So i hit delete on all disk 1 partitions, not format right?

And what about the disk 0, should i delete to make sure it is not booting on instead of the ssd?

Disk 0 is the 1TB HDD and Disk 1 is the 120GB SSD, you need to delete all partitions on whichever drive you want to install Windows onto.

In the CrystalDiskInfo tool it is the 1TB HDD that was indicated as failing, so it would be best to re-install Windows on the 120GB SSD

The whole disk will then be marked as Unallocated Space', select that and click 'Next' to begin the installation.
